I guess it’s a symptom of a succesfull blog, though, when a chunk of the comments are blatantly fanboys lashing out.

I’d expect nothing less from a personal site, albeit one with topics of more general appeal then close friends. I’m surprised people think they have a right to post rubbish on people’s sites sometimes.
It was somewhat entertaining reading a few recent comment threads I don’t have anything to add to, since you must have removed a lot of cruff to even have some of the comments you left on there 🙂
Keep up the good writing and you’ll just have to enjoy a lot more moderating I guess, hehe. The pain of popularity!
