  1. omg, i love it! i’ll blog it soon hahah! 😀

  2. Lmao, that’s classic. F*ck Evony – Well played Popcap.

  3. Haha, love it. Plants Vs. Zombies is a great game too.

  4. This is great! 😀

  5. I absolutely despise Evony and adore PopCap! Plants vs. Zombies is a great game – the MJ zombie, while perhaps still a PC topic at the moment, is my favorite!

  6. Every time I see one of those stupid Evony ads now, I just think of these and laugh. 🙂

  7. I AM SO LIKE GONNA ADVERTISE IT IN MY PROFILES.

  8. Haha.. Just awesome.

  9. How long though until Mr Evony sues for copying his artwork, in a huge plot twist of irony?

  10. Hi – intellectual property attorney here. Parody and satire are absolute defenses against copyright infringement actually. This is clearly a parody of the Evony Online advertisements. Since the use is satirical in nature, even if Evony sues, they will most likely lose.

If you ever used to collect ‘Wacky Packages’ stickers, that’s the same thing. It was meant to make fun of the other artwork – in this case, using sex to advertise a game (which has nothing to do with the game), but then using an ugly ogre instead.

  11. Why u need a fighting fund against Evony?
If u are right then it should be no problem winning. Isn’t It?
Or you don’t know more ways how to make money fast and easy? It’s Just a Question!. I will wait for your answer Mr. Bruce

  12. @Shadow Diaz
You don’t know much about the law do you.
You seem to think I can just rock up in court and tell them I am right.
Libel cases cost hundreds of thousands (dollars or pounds) for both sides just to get the case to court.

Google is your friend. Do some research.

  13. I have to agree with Bruce on this. A company sues you, not just in the absolute belief they will win the case, but most likely in the hopes that you will run out of money before they do. It’s as simple as that.

I applaud you, Bruce, for continuing with the Evony bashing. I play the game myself, but you offer factual information and should not be persecuted for it – by persecuted I mean sued!

Example: If a car is known to have been purpously designed to cause accidents, and Mr. Bruce gathered the facts and stated them on his website, should that car manufacturer then be able to sue him? In my opinion that would be a resounding NO.

At any rate, good luck Mr. Bruce.

  14. Popcap vertiably made the Evony marketeers give them a BJ with these ads…
